Description
This building, constructed in the 1890s by the Jewish Charitable Society, belonged to the Jewish Vocational School "Talmud Tora," where impoverished Jewish youth were able to receive an education. The Jewish industrialist Zygmunt Jarociński was one of the institution's biggest supporters and donated land for its creation. In the interwar years, the building belonged to the Jewish Society for the Advancement of Education, which used the space to establish both a primary school and a Men's Technical Gymnasium.
