Title
view of the I.K. Poznański manufacturing plant
Description
Izrael Poznański's manufacturing plant was one of the largest textile operations in Łódź at the turn of the 20th c. The enterprise suffered enormous financial losses during World War I. The next generation of the Poznański family kept the company going until the 1930s, when Banca Commerciale Italiana bought up its debt. This photo shows the I.K. Poznański factory in 1938, during its period of decline.
