In the archival audio (Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation), Zanvel Goldberg recalls returning after the war to his family apartment, from which his mother and grandmother were departed to their death by the Nazis and witnessing the ghostly emptiness of post-Holocaust Bałuty.
